JASON M. CURIS

PRINCIPAL

Jason is the founder of JMC Management, LLC, and has been involved in both residential and commercial real estate for the last 20 years.  He began his career as a commercial real estate broker and consultant, and quickly became a specialist in working with difficult, non-performing assets and returning them to profitability. He focused his early efforts on mastering the inner-city Detroit real estate market and has since been involved in the acquisition and disposition of over 2,500 real estate transactions, with the acquisition, construction, leasing, and selling of millions of square feet of commercial real estate in addition to 100s of apartment building complexes.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University, and is a licensed associate broker in the state of Michigan.

CHRISTINA RICE

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Christina has been involved in both commercial and residential real estate for over 20 years. She has worked in all levels of the industry and has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions and liquidations, financing, and urban development. Christina has most recently worked as a tenant representative for national retail brands seeking real estate acquisitions in various markets around the country. She now brings her knowledge of stabilizing distressed assets, developing new real estate projects, and managing investment objectives to the clients of MC Management, LLC.

TRENA R. EDMONDSON

VICE PRESIDENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Trena R. Edmondson brings to JMC Management, LLC over 19 years of experience in multiple industries. Having spent her career in both residential and commercial real estate, along with spending several years as an entrepreneur herself, she understands the demands of clients, tenants, real estate owners, vendors, and the community alike. Her real estate passion carries through to both the new and experienced business owner looking to expand in well positioned properties that have great management. Trena believes in building relationships through honesty and integrity, and is very passionate about bringing the dreams of entrepreneurs to reality through the management and expertise of JMC Management, LLC.

Daniel Mata

Director of Construction & Facilities

Daniel Mata serves as Director of Construction & Facilities for JMC Management, LLC, overseeing construction, capital improvements, and facility operations across the company’s managed commercial and residential portfolio. A Michigan Licensed Builder and General Contractor, Daniel brings extensive construction and operational leadership experience, including 22 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. His background includes large-scale project management, commercial property development, and senior operations leadership. Daniel holds a Master’s in Management and a Bachelor’s in Technical Management. His leadership philosophy emphasizes accountability, operational efficiency, quality workmanship, and building strong teams that deliver consistent results for all of JMC’s clients.

Karen L. Canyon-Allen

Loft Director

Karen L. Canyon-Allen is the Loft Director with Metro Detro Lofts, bringing nearly a year of experience with the company and more than 35 years’ experience in real estate and property management. Throughout her career, Karen has developed extensive experience in commercial property management, leasing, client relations, tenant services, and day to day property operations. She is known for strong commitments to customer service, professionalism, communication and problem solving, which enhances every relationship. Karen’s experience and dedication allow her to connect with the clients, tenants, business owners, and industry professionals while helping create positive and productive real estate experience throughout Metro Detroit.

Tyniia Lindsey

Property Manager

With over two decades of experience in the real estate industry, Tyniia is a seasoned Property and Asset Manager specializing in the oversight and optimization of diverse portfolios. Her expertise spans LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, Public Housing, single-family homes, luxury apartments, HOAs and commercial real estate, making her a versatile leader.

Throughout her career, Tyniia has demonstrated a strong record of improving operational performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, maximizing asset value, and leading successful leasing strategies. Her strengths lie in strategic planning, team development, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement, as well as navigating the complexities of federal, state, and local regulations. Enthusiastic about providing quality service and fostering sustainable centers, Tyniia brings both deep technical knowledge and a hands-on, people-first approach to property and asset management.

Renita Hill

Property Manager

Renita brings over 15 years of experience in both commercial and residential property management to JMC Management. Known for her honesty, loyalty, and strong work ethic, she is a resolute professional with a true passion for the industry. Renita excels in leasing, tenant retention, and team leadership with a direct, people-first approach. These factors combined with her excellent communication and organizational skills set her apart from the rest. Her commitment to building strong centers, be it retail or residential and maintaining high standards makes her a valuable asset to the JMC Team.

Karen Canyon-Allen

Property Manager

Karen Canyon-Allen comes to JMC Management with extensive hands-on experience in property management, customer service, and operational support.  She excels in communication, problem-solving, and maintaining organizing processes that keep properties running smoothly.  Karen’s commitment to helping people, combined with her strong work ethic, makes her a valuable teammate dedicated to JMC’s mission of providing exceptional property care.

Lawrence Jackson

Property Manager

Lawrence Jackson is a seasoned property management professional with more than 15 years of comprehensive experience overseeing diverse real estate portfolios. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen team performance, and uphold the highest standards of service.
Lawrence approaches every client engagement with a strong sense of purpose and dedication. His focus on building trust, fostering collaborative business relationships, and delivering exceptional client service continues to distinguish him as a respected leader in property management.

Maranda Biddle

Property Manager

Maranda is a Detroit Native with almost 10 years’ experience in property management. Maranda has a significant knowledge of the residential field, with a background spanning LIHTC and section 8 housing, market-rate communities, single family portfolios, investor services and residential sales. Maranda is known for her visionary approach, sharp attention to detail and strong communication skills.  With a passion for supporting entrepreneurs and business owners, she is committed to matching clients with spaces that promote growth, stability and long-term success in the communities they serve.

Jordan Bonzelarr

Accounts Payable Specialist

Jordan plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, making him a key resource to JMC and Vendors alike. All while streamlining workflows to simplify the accounts payable process. With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies, Jordan consistently upholds the integrity of financial operations. Known for his organizational skills and calm demeanor, he thrives in fast-paced environments and is always ready to take on new challenges.

May Hopper

Accounts Receivable Specialist

May brings over 15 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, collections, and customer service. May has a strong commitment to managing customer accounts, payment, and NNN reconciliations. Known for her dependable and collaborative approach, May works closely with customers and team members to resolve issues and support smooth financial operations. May is excited to bring her over 20 years of experience to JMC Management LLC.

Lawrence Cruz

Accounting Manager

Lawrence comes to JMC Management, LLC with over 17 years of accounting background and experience in both property and asset management. Mr. Cruz’s passion for accounting is evident through his work ethic, positive attitude, and extreme level of detail, which he has used over the years in working for both local and national organizations. With this experience and passion, Lawrence is an excellent resource not only to the JMC Management, LLC office, but to our clients as well.
